Outreach and Events

As part of the lab’s outreach efforts we regularly have a presence at fisheries conferences, working waterfront and seafood festivals, as well as host many school groups at SMAST to show them our research and conduct hand on dissections of marine animals in our lab spaces.

Pictured above are snapshots from the steering committee meeting held at SMAST February 2023 and below is a recording of the same presentation given at the meeting. Feedback and discussions occurred during and after the presentation from both in-person and zoom attendees from members of the fishing industry and science groups.
